This role focuses on hands-on fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of composite and metallic aircraft structures in a high-reliability aerospace environment. You will work with advanced materials, precision tools, and multiple fastener systems to support complex aircraft builds while maintaining strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The position is onsite on a 4/10 schedule and offers the opportunity to contribute directly to cutting-edge work in the space sector.
Responsibilities
You will contribute directly to the rapidly growing space sector while working on advanced aircraft and spacecraft technologies. The organization supports your overall well-being with comprehensive health and wellness benefits, including medical, dental, vision, mental health support, an employee assistance program, and company-paid life and disability coverage. You can maintain a healthy work-life balance through paid time off, holidays, and parental leave, supported by a stable 4/10 schedule. The culture emphasizes safety, collaboration, continuous learning, and opportunities for long-term growth, including the potential to transition from a contract role to a permanent position based on performance and attitude.
Work Environment
This position is fully onsite in an aircraft hangar environment with temperature control, though humidity levels may be elevated due to the nature of aircraft parts and processes. You will work around composite and metallic structures, shop tools, and machinery in a production setting that emphasizes safety, FOD control, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The standard schedules follow a 4/10 workweek, with options including a Monday–Thursday night shift (4:00 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.) and a Thursday–Sunday day shift (6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.).
