Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our team as a Server/Bartender at Beachcombers Tiki Hut at the Ramada Plaza in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. This is a full-time, individual contributor summer role within our fast-paced hospitality and restaurant environment. As a Server/Bartender, you will have the opportunity to provide excellent customer service while showcasing your bartending and serving skills. Compensation & Benefits: The compensation for this position is $5 to $8 per hour, paid biweekly. Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take and process food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in adherence to safety and legal regulations
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and behavior, and take necessary steps to prevent over-consumption
• Ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and restaurant as a whole
• Continuously engage with guests to ensure their satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or issues
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food to guests
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu offerings and daily specials
• Assist in restocking and inventory management of bar supplies
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards and practices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a bar tending and/or serving role preferred
• Extensive knowledge of beverage and cocktail preparation techniques
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods of time
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Candidate must have reliable transportation to and from work
