Connect Staffing is hiring Reach Truck Operators for a high-volume 3PL distribution center in Houston, TX. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $18–$20/hr across multiple available shifts. In this role, you will operate a stand-up reach truck to move, position, and rack product throughout the facility — and pull and pick customer orders from warehouse racking using RF scanning equipment.

Pay:$18–$20/hr

Schedule:1st Shift: Mon–Fri 2:00 AM–10:30 AM | 2nd Shift: Mon–Fri 10:30 AM–7:00 PM | 3rd Shift: Mon–Fri 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up reach truck to move, position, and rack product throughout the distribution center.
• Pull and pick customer orders from warehouse racking for outbound shipment.
• Scan merchandise using RF equipment before relocating product to designated rack locations.
• Receive and store inbound product and transfers in assigned rack areas.
• Transport picked orders to the dock using material handling equipment.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections on the reach truck.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of reach truck or stand-up forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution center.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating reach trucks specifically in a high-bay racking environment.
• Familiarity with RF scanning equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Experience in a 3PL, distribution center, or high-volume fulfillment operation.
• Ability to read and follow pick tickets, packing slips, and shipping labels.
• Experience working with pallet racking systems and product positioning.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Ability to work at a fast pace.
• Steel-toe boots required (employee-provided).
