We are actively seeking an enthusiastic and motivated

Entry-Level Public Relations Assistant to join our expanding team. This exciting opportunity is ideal for recent graduates and early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in public relations, nonprofit marketing, community engagement, event coordination, and strategic communications .

What You'll Do

As a Public Relations Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting outreach and engagement efforts for nonprofit partners by:

  • Assisting the Marketing Manager with the development and execution of public relations, communications, and community outreach strategies
  • Supporting the planning and coordination of charitable campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and community engagement events
  • Serving as a professional representative for nonprofit organizations and charitable causes
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with community members, donors, and partner organizations
  • Communicating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure campaign success
  • Contributing creative ideas to increase brand awareness, donor engagement, and community participation
  • Assisting with the execution of both on-site and off-site promotional and fundraising events
  • Monitoring trends in public relations, nonprofit marketing, community outreach, and fundraising to identify growth opportunities
  • Supporting event logistics, campaign tracking, and day-to-day communications activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in public relations, communications, marketing, customer service, event coordination, or community outreach is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
