NBCUniversal’s Owned Television station in West Hartford, CT, is looking for a daily hire News Photographer to join our award-winning team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to visual storytelling with excellent videography and editing skills. Creativity is king! Our culture embraces new ideas and collabs, so you should feel comfortable pitching new processes and engaging with your colleges on how to keep evolving. This will be a unique role, with much of your day being spent editing our morning show newscasts and then when needed, heading out into the field to gather news content to be used across all our platforms. You should feel comfortable monitoring several rundowns simultaneously and editing video to match the written script. Confidence gathering assigned stories with or without a reporter for the back half of your day is also a must have.
