Job Description

Mulch Blower Truck Operator — Class B CDL Required

About the Position

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused operator to drive and operate our mulch blower truck. This specialized equipment installs mulch, soil blends, and other landscape materials efficiently on residential and commercial properties.

This is a hands-on position that combines CDL driving with equipment operation and physical outdoor work. Ideal candidates take pride in quality workmanship, customer service, and maintaining equipment.

Requirements

  • Valid Class B CDL — Manual Transmission (No Automatic Restriction)
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
  • Comfortable driving a large commercial vehicle in residential areas
  • Ability to perform physical work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to safety and property protection
  • Dependable with good attendance

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience operating blower trucks or similar equipment
  • Landscaping, construction, or heavy equipment background
  • Basic mechanical knowledge

Job Responsibilities

  • Safely drive mulch blower truck to job sites
  • Operate blower system to install mulch and soil products
  • Work with crew to prepare job sites and ensure quality installation
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of truck and equipment
  • Communicate professionally with customers on site
  • Follow company safety procedures at all times

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs regularly
  • Frequent climbing, bending, and standing
  • Ability to work on uneven terrain
  • Comfortable working outdoors for full shifts
