**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Summary:**We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various equipment and systems within our facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our working environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.- Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the appropriate repair procedures.- Perform repairs and replace defective parts using various tools and equipment.- Maintain maintenance records and prepare reports as needed.- Collaborate with other team members to improve systems and procedures.- Respond quickly to emergency maintenance requests.- Ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
**Qualifications:**- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.- Strong knowledge of industrial and residential systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment and systems.- Proficient in the use of manual and power tools.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
**Physical Requirements:**- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor as needed.- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders.
