Job Title: Refrigerated Straight Truck Driver (LTL)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Refrigerated Straight Truck Driver to join our client's transportation team. This role involves transporting less-than-truckload (LTL) refrigerated freight to multiple delivery locations while maintaining proper temperature control and product integrity. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, strong time management, and a commitment to safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a refrigerated straight truck to transport LTL freight to designated delivery locations
• Perform multiple daily pickups and deliveries while adhering to scheduled routes and timelines
• Monitor and maintain proper temperature settings to ensure product quality and compliance
• Load, unload, and secure freight using proper material handling techniques and equipment
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and bills of lading
• Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries
• Follow all DOT regulations, company safety standards, and transportation policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required depending on vehicle classification)
• Previous experience driving refrigerated or delivery trucks preferred
• Experience with LTL deliveries and multiple stops is a plus
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and DOT regulations
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, lift gates, or other material handling equipment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage delivery schedules independently
• Good communication and customer service skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs when loading or unloading freight
• Ability to enter and exit the truck frequently during multi-stop routes
• Capable of working in varying weather conditions during deliveries
