  • Support for relocation provided
  • The kindest thing you can tell a child who achieved 99% is that they haven't yet passed. If that statement makes you uncomfortable, this isn't your role. If it resonates, read on.

Alpha students complete their academic learning in two hours daily via self-directed AI-enabled platforms. No instructors. No traditional lessons. No managing classroom subject matter. This structure allows you to focus on work that genuinely shifts trajectories: facilitating high-impact sessions on public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback; using live analytics to ensure students reach every learning milestone; and developing the Guides who support you.

A typical morning might begin with coaching a Guide one-on-one, analyzing performance metrics and pinpointing where a group is underperforming. By noon you're conducting a live student session, executing a structured activity on feedback exchange. Afternoons transition to motivational work: engaging individual students, discovering their intrinsic drivers, and leveraging Alpha's incentive framework to re-engage a reluctant middle schooler. You manage your own cohort directly, maintaining the same competencies you're developing in others.

You've likely been the outlier in traditional education: excessively metrics-oriented, overly outcome-focused, too ready to question conventional approaches with students. Alpha may be the first environment where you truly belong. You'll begin coaching Guides immediately, and as you demonstrate results systematically, your authority over campus-wide program standards expands.

Uphold the standard. Transform the student. Submit your application.

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Facilitating one-hour structured sessions on essential skills (public speaking, concentration, feedback exchange) for elementary and middle school groups (K-8), executing Alpha's established framework rather than creating content independently
    • Conducting motivational interventions using student data and Alpha's reward structures (campus currency, performance boards) to achieve complete student goal attainment
    • Developing Guides in program adherence and standards maintenance, ensuring each coaching interaction results in concrete performance improvements
    • Managing your own student group while simultaneously building capacity in other Guides
    • Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal achievement rates, and Guide effectiveness indicators weekly to identify performance gaps before they escalate

    What You Won’t Be Doing

    • Instructing or tutoring students in academic content. Students progress through self-directed applications independently, without adult instruction.
    • Creating curriculum or developing original lesson plans. The framework is established; success depends on faithful execution, not creative invention.
    • Developing Guides on instructional methods. Guides don't instruct, so your coaching centers on enthusiasm, motivation, and accountability mechanisms instead.
    • Creating exceptions when a student achieves 99% rather than 100%. Maintaining standards demonstrates your confidence in their capacity to reach the goal.
    • Serving as the campus emotional safety net. Students receive genuine connection here, alongside direct feedback and meaningful accountability.

    Leadership Coach Key Responsibilities

Fulfill Alpha's three commitments to every student in your group: they develop a genuine love for school, accelerate learning at twice the rate of conventional classrooms, and build authentic life competencies.

    Basic Requirements

    • Available to work on-site in Denver, CO; Atlanta, GA; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Keller (Fort Worth), TX; The Woodlands (Houston), TX; Park City (Salt Lake City), UT; or Toronto, Canada (relocation assistance available)
    • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related discipline
    • 5+ years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or a comparable domain
    • Demonstrated history of managing a team of 5 or more adults, including responsibility for hiring and performance-based dismissal decisions
    • Hands-on experience working with children aged 5-14 in an educational or youth development context
    • Experience building, launching, or substantially expanding a program, team, enterprise, school, or initiative from inception
    • Documented use of analytics and metrics to establish weekly objectives and inform decisions, not merely to document outcomes
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada

    Nice-to-have Requirements

    • Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or a related discipline
    • Experience coaching sports, leading outdoor or experiential education programs, managing camps, or overseeing youth ministry at a scale requiring cohort management and outcome measurement
    • Transitioned from classroom instruction to building or managing programs in alternative capacities: EdTech, tutoring enterprises, youth-focused nonprofits, or school support teams
    • Early-career history of exceptional individual achievement — academically, athletically, or professionally — prior to transitioning into leadership
    • Conviction that traditional education systems are fundamentally inadequate and personal commitment to reforming them
