Job Title: Handyman
Location: Lynchburg, Virginia
Type: Contract
Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 40.0 hours/week

System One is seeking a reliable and hands-on Handyman to support the daily upkeep and appearance of our client's facility. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment while handling a variety of facility improvement and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily facility walkthroughs and complete odd jobs as needed
• Painting, cleaning, and cosmetic touch-ups
• Move furniture and equipment safely
• Pressure washing and exterior upkeep
• Concrete and floor repairs
• Wash windows and maintain common areas
• Hang pictures, whiteboards, and fixtures
• Escort contractors on-site
• Assist maintenance team with general tasks
• Support overall facility appearance and functionality

• Prior handyman, maintenance, or facilities experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of tools, repairs, and general maintenance practices
• Ability to lift, move, and carry materials/equipment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Dependable with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience
