This is a remote position.

A Remote General Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in digital systems while supporting basic administrative tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into databases, spreadsheets, or company systems with high accuracy
  
• Review and verify data for errors, missing information, or inconsistencies
  
• Update and maintain existing records and files
  
• Organize and manage digital documents and databases
  
• Perform routine data quality checks and corrections
  
• Generate simple reports and summaries when needed
  
• Assist with basic clerical tasks such as email handling or document formatting
  
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection policies
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Previous data entry or administrative experience (preferred but not always required)
  
• Fast and accurate typing skills (typically 40–60+ WPM)
  
• Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, Word, or Google Workspace
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  
• Reliable internet connection and dedicated home workspace
