Position Overview

Our client is hiring professional Security Guards to support live media productions filming assignments interviews and street-level content shoots across Manhattan.

This role is responsible for helping maintain a safe organized and secure environment for production staff talent equipment and crew members while filming in busy public locations.

The ideal candidate has strong situational awareness a professional presence and the ability to manage crowds or access points while supporting a fast-paced media production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure and organized perimeter during filming and live production activities.
• Monitor crowds foot traffic and surrounding activity near the production area.
• Help manage access points and prevent unauthorized interference with crew talent or equipment.
• Support the safety of production staff talent and bystanders.
• Coordinate with producers crew members and local authorities when necessary.
• Remain alert and professional in busy Manhattan filming environments.
• Assist with de-escalation and crowd control when needed.
• Protect production equipment and help maintain a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications

• Prior security event security law enforcement military or public safety experience preferred.
• Strong situational awareness and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Professional appearance demeanor and communication style.
• Must be located in or near Manhattan NYC.
• Must be reliable punctual and able to work flexible hours.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in active public environments.
• Valid New York security license if required by assignment or state regulations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting live events media productions public filming concerts nightlife or high-traffic environments.
• Background in crowd management access control or executive protection.
• Ability to communicate clearly with production staff and the general public.
• Familiarity with Manhattan streets venues and public filming environments.

Compensation

• $25$35 per hour depending on experience.
