NextGen Hospitality Solutions is on the lookout for a dedicated Director of Safety & Risk Management to join our team in Torrance. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for someone passionate about creating safe environments in the restaurant industry. As the Director of Safety & Risk Management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within our restaurants. Your expertise will play a vital role in fostering a culture of safety, which ultimately contributes to the success of our operations and enhances the dining experience for our guests.

We offer a competitive salary range of $105,000 - $125,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your career growth and personal well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for restaurant operations
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations
  • Train staff on safety protocols and emergency response procedures
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes
  • Collaborate with management to create a culture of safety
  • Monitor and report on safety performance metrics
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and safety trends

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in safety management is a plus
  • Entry-level experience in safety management or related field
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to train and motivate staff on safety practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Certifications in safety management (e.g., OSHA) are a plus
