Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Events based in Scottsdale, AZ. The Director of Events will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution, including budgeting, managing client relationships, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring events run smoothly. The role also involves leading a team, fostering client satisfaction, and contributing to sales and marketing efforts to enhance business growth. The ideal candidate will be passionate about event management and dedicated to delivering premium experiences for clients.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Event Planning and Event Management
• Strong Budgeting and financial oversight skills for event-related projects
• Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client and vendor relationships
• Experience in sales and the ability to develop and execute strategies to drive event bookings
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, including leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in event management software and tools
• Experience in hospitality or event venue management is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field preferred

Compensation & Growth

• Starting pay begins at $30/hour

• 3% commission opportunities on booked business

• Compensation growth and leadership opportunities available as performance goals and sales milestones are achieved
