Veterans Covert Protection Group (VCPG).

Location: Pleasanton, CA (Assignment in Atherton).

Job Type: Full-Time.

Pay: $28–$30 per hour + overtime.

Work Schedule:

• Part-Time: Thursday–Saturday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
• Additional shifts may be available.

Position Overview:

As an Unarmed Corporate Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure corporate environment by monitoring premises, enforcing policies, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Control access points and verify identification of employees and visitors.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
• Write clear and accurate incident reports.
• Provide excellent customer service and act as a visible security presence.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of prior security experience preferred (corporate environment preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Proficiency with smartphones, incident reporting applications, and email.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to consistently work 8-hour day or night shifts, with overtime as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid BSIS guard card.
• Ability to pass a background screening, including California Live Scan.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to approximately 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to regularly climb stairs.
