Role Description

As an Accounts Payable Specialist at Remofirst, you’ll be responsible for processing, tracking, and recording payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The Accounts Payable specialist will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners. You’ll also establish relationships with various decision-makers within our ecosystem while preparing and maintaining accurate records and financial reports related to budgets, expenses, etc.

• Monitor the AP inbox and respond to inquiries, resolving questions/issues.
• Work closely with vendors to request applicable changes on invoices, tax removal, etc., while maintaining a positive attitude in all correspondence.
• Record invoices in systems.
• Verify financial data for maintaining accounts payable records.
• Perform bank account reconciliation.
• Process payments to vendors.
• Assist in accurate and timely recording and processing of invoices and payroll reports.
• Prepare vendor reconciliations, helping to identify any applicable issues.
• Communicate and cooperate with other stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
• Other duties as assigned by the AP Team Lead based on Finance department initiatives and priorities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a Finance, Accountant, or Accounts Payable Specialist.
• Finance background is a plus.
• Upper-Intermediate English is a must.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with diverse teams.
• Good time management skills to structure workdays and tasks.
• Collaborative mindset to work with various people in different locations.
• Independent and autonomous problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail for maintaining accuracy with financial data.
• Strong organizational skills for managing financial documents.
