Reports to: Director of Operations

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

FLSA Status: Exempt

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated 503A Staff Pharmacist to oversee the safe, accurate, and compliant compounding of medications. You will work in an on-site, fast-paced environment in Albuquerque, NM, ensuring all outputs align with state and federal regulations, including FDA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify prescriptions for clinical accuracy and patient appropriateness.
• Compound and dispense medications following regulatory guidelines and patient-specific instructions.
• Consult with healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication usage and side effects.
• Maintain precise patient records and documentation for all medication orders.
• Ensure continuous compliance with pharmacy laws, USP standards, and evolving industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited U.S. institution.
• Active pharmacist license in the state of Texas.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licensures as required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compounding pharmacy (503A or 503B setting preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and practitioner engagement.
• Working knowledge of FDA regulations, USP standards, and cGMP principles.
